The Firehall Arts Centre and Ruby Slippers Theatre presents Hotel Bethlehem, a holiday farce by Drew McCreadie.  Hotel Bethlehem will run at the Firehall Arts Centre (280 East Cordova Street) from December 18 to 23.

The play offers a fresh and hilarious take on the story of Christmas—one that includes the Three Kings evading taxation, ridiculous Roman soldiers, shepherds contemplating sheep lotteries, and much more. Hotel Bethlehem is directed by Diane Brown and features Stephen Beaver, Scott Bellis, Tim Carlson, Alex Diakun, Dustin Freeland, Jennifer Mawhinney, Sean McQuillan, John Murphy, Byron Noble, Kris Novak, and Alvin Sanders. This production includes set design by David Roberts, sound design by Jordan Watkins, lighting design by Jonathan Ryder, costume design by Drew Facey, and stage management by Allison Spearin.

Performances of Hotel Bethlehem are scheduled for Tuesday to Friday (December 18 to 21) at 8 p.m., Wednesday (December 19) at 1 p.m., Saturday (December 22) at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday (December 23) at 3 p.m. Tickets are $22 to $27 and can be purchased through the Firehall Arts Centre box office online and by phone at 604-689-0926.
