The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors A Midsummer Fête

Transport yourself to a traditional English summer fête with the Public Dreams’ modern interpretation, taking place at Colony Farm Regional Park in Coquitlam on Sunday (June 24) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A Midsummer Fête is a celebratory, educational, and inspirational afternoon that includes storytelling, music, art, roving characters, a giant labyrinth, and a tea party. Children and adults are invited to learn about beekeeping, organic gardening, birds, and nature at workshops led by local artists and naturalists.

Entry to A Midsummer Fête is $5, children under 12 and seniors get free admission. A free shuttle service between Lougheed Skytrain Station and Colony Farm will run every 15 minutes between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
