Axis Theatre Company presents The Number 14 at Granville Island’s Waterfront Theatre (1410 Cartwright Street) starting today (October 25) and running until November 18.

The play tells the story of a group of passengers aboard the number 14 bus. The Number 14 was conceived by Axis Theatre Company’s founding artistic director Wayne Specht and director Roy Surette 20 years ago and has gone to become one of Canada’s most successful plays, with two runs on Broadway , a 1998 New York Drama Desk nomination, and four Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards.
