      The Punch Brothers make their Vancouver debut at UBC’s Chan Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday (November 24) at 8 p.m.

      The New York-based string band includes Chris Thile on mandolin, Gabe Witcher on violin, Chris Eldridge on guitar, Paul Kowert on bass, and Noam Pikelny on banjo. The Punch Brothers began playing progressive bluegrass music together in 2006 and released their first album, Punch in 2008. The group has released two more albums—2010’s Antifogmatic and 2012’s Who’s Feeling Young Now.

      Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased online.
