Golfer Michelle Wie tweets about Vancouver's food

Charismatic American golfer Michelle Wie appears to be having a great time in Vancouver, judging from the tweets she's been sending to her 89,532 followers.

The 23-year-old star has described the food in town as "AMAZING", mentioning that she had just enjoyed another great dinner. "Vancouver, you rock," she wrote.

In another tweet, she noted that she's now a "blondie", and included the photo above.

Wie is here for the CN Canadian Women's Open, which is at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam.

Wow. I can't even begin to describe how exciting it is to be "liked" by a 20-something American female golfer. Gee whiz. Golly gosh.

Obviously some people care because this story has hung around on the most-read list for a couple of days. Sometimes we in the media have to give the people what they want, even if it drives DavidH a bit berserk.

She is a great golfer and her twitter followers have now all received her endorsement of vancouver. This is good for Vancouver. That is all you need to know, oh and that gross generalizations about racial groups are tacky, oh oh oh AND I could direct you to some photos of blond asians that you would have zero problem with. She is very pretty I think.
