Hunt is on for Twitter user who compared Saudi female athletes to prostitutes

Thje Global Voices website has revealed that a Twitter user with the name "Sultan Al Hilali" is trying to spread an Arabic hash tag that translates into "The Prostitutes of the Olympics".

It's designed to generate hatred for the two Saudi women—Wojdan Shaherkani and Sarah Attar—who are competing in the London Games.

According to writer Amira Al Hussaini, this hash tag has been the catalyst for a campaign to "name and shame" its originator.

"Many netizens also called for the prosecution of the Twitter user who came up with the hash tag," she writes. "A screen shot of the tweet which calls the women taking part in the games as prostitutes is making the rounds online."
