As part of the Idle No More movement sweeping across the country, hundreds of people gathered for a rally at the Vancouver Art Gallery on December 23.

On Thursday (December 27), an Idle No More flash mob took place outside the Vancouver Convention Centre. The crowd sang songs and heard from people who spoke out in defence of indigenous sovereignty and against the Stephen Harper government's attacks on aboriginal rights.

The crowd sings the Women's Warrior Song.
