iPhone 5 to be released September 21 in Canada

Apple has taken the wraps off its highly anticipated iPhone 5. Today (September 12), the tech giant revealed the sixth-generation smartphone will be its tallest, thinnest, and lightest yet.

When will this coveted device be available in Canada?

According to iPhoneinCanada.ca, the release date is September 21. Pre-orders start on September 14.

The new iPhone will be available in two shades—black and white—from Apple, along with Rogers, Bell, and Telus dealers.

The Globe and Mail says the price will start at around $200 with a contract. Without a contract, the iPhone 5 will go for $699 for the 16 GB model, $799 for 32 GB, and $899 for 64 GB.

no quad core, no nfc, no charging pad, no usb. this phone is more than a year out of date. and the design is stale. STILL NO WIDGETS!!

half an inch and LTE does not make this special. it cant even compete with existing devices.

i think i will be getting the Note II. or the SIII

Faster, Taller, Thinner. kind of sums up the plight of the slave labour force in China who are forced to work for miniscule wages, long days and nights to manufacture these things that will bring riches to Apple corporate investors.
But we do love our new toys.

loving the first two posts here – the phone doesn't have enough CPU cores and also you should feel bad about buying this phone because poor people made it
