James Cameron's Avatar trailer released on-line

At last, the trailer for James Cameron’s highly anticipated Avatar has been released on-line.

The 3D and CGI–heavy feature, scheduled for a December 18 release, is the first feature film Cameron wrote and directed since 1997's Titanic.

The story centres on a war between humans and humanoid inhabitants on another planet.

With the exception of Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation), and Michelle Rodriguez (Fast & Furious), the cast is primarily made up of virtual unknowns.

Although many people cringe when a movie is primarily CGI, this looks good. The fact that it will be in 3D should add more to the experience.
