John Fogerty to play the classic CCR album Cosmo's Factory in its entirety in Abbotsford

It's a dream come true for fans of American rock legend John Fogerty. The singer, songwriter, and guitarist will perform Cosmo's Factory, the classic album by his old band Creedence Clearwater Revival, in its entirety when he plays Abbotsford's Entertainment & Sports Centre on Friday, September 28.

Released in the summer of 1970, Cosmo's Factory features 11 tracks, including the Fogerty-penned hits "Run Through the Jungle", "Up Around the Bend", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Travelin' Band", and "Who'll Stop the Rain".

The last time Fogerty played Vancouver was June 7, 2009, at Rogers Arena. That was a fine show, though maybe not quite as fine as the double-bill he did with John Mellencamp at the hockey rink in August of 2005.

Tickets for the Abby show—which features opening act Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real—start at $20 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (May 4) at 10 am at Live Nation.

Someone oughta tell Fogerty where Abbotsford is. It's not too late to change his mind!
