Kinect for Xbox 360 to cost $150 when it goes on sale November 4
Microsoft announced today (July 20) that the Kinect sensor for its Xbox 360 console will be priced at $149.99. It will come with a copy of the game Kinect Adventures.
To be released on November 4, Kinect is an interface that allows users to play video games without needing a controller. It tracks the full-body movements of players and can be voice-controlled.
Some of the more than 15 games available for Kinect at launch in November include Kinect Adventures, Kinectimals, Dance Central, and Kinect Joy Ride, being developed in Vancouver by Big Park Games.
Also announced today was the availability, on August 3, of a new four-gigabyte Xbox 360 console, priced at $199. It will have the same form factor as the redesigned Xbox 360 that was announced and released in June.
