London cops attack disabled man on a motorized tricycle
A London police officer goes a bit berserk on a disabled man.
It looks like London police have something to learn from Vancouver officers when it comes to protecting the public during the Olympics.
The VPD earned kudos for its restrained approach during the 2010 Games.
In London, on the other hand, the cops have come under fire for pepper-spraying a disabled man who was stationary on a motorized tricycle. It came during the monthly Critical Mass ride in the city.

As someone who lives in London and saw them trying to grandstand/spoil others' enjoyment yesterday I have a rather different view. Do you really believe what you fed by Critical Mass? If so, there's this bridge between Manhattan and Brooklyn I can sell to you at a really good price.

Oh Yeah! He's a harmless diabled man...............he may be disabled but he doesn't look that harmless. An overage hoodlam in with all the other hoodlams out to cause trouble etc.

It isn't clear in the video what events precipitated this confrontation, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the man on the motorcycle (not a disabled scooter) blocking or damaging the car that is seen in this video. It is clear that the other Critical Mass protestors then use their bikes as weapons to attack the police and to prevent them from doing their job (here that is called obstruction). Wow Charlie Smith - this is one of the worst cases of false reporting I have seen! I am glad there is video to help identify and charge the hooligans from London' Critical Mass that participated in this ugly scene.
