The MythBusters come to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre

Vancouverites can finally get up close and personal with MythBusters stars and special-effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman on January 22, 2012, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The all-new, all-live Behind the Myths show will be a mix of on-stage experiments, audience participation, and behind-the-scenes stories. Expect to see the duo match wits with each other and members of the audience as they dive into their unique view of science.

For a taste of what you’re in for, check out the clip below, where the guys explore different methods of walking on water. Just a word of warning, you’ll probably learn something!

Tickets for the MythBusters are priced at $85 and $39.50 (plus service charges and fees), go on sale November 12 at 10 a.m, and can be bought at Ticketmaster.
