      Not a Constance Barnes fan.

She voted to close the Bloedel Conservatory, she bowed to pressure from a handful of local residents to block a planned seawall from Kits beach to Jericho, and has shown poor judgement and put other people's lives at risk when deciding to drive while under the influence of alcohol.

Matt Toner is a better representative for Vancouver - False Creek, and someone I could vote for.

I wish Constance Barnes well, although I won't ever again be voting for anyone endorsed by Vision Vancouver.

There have been a string of "no thank yous" from NDP riding associatios to Visionistas seeking nominations. Perhaps the true image of Vision as the Judas goat of municipal politics is becoming too clear to more New Democrats. If the only alternative they offer to an NPA City Hall is a political vehicle that brings the votes of working class families to carbon copy NPA policy, they have to go!

I'll be happy to vote, donate and canvass to elect provincial NDP governments federally and provincially. I'll be just as happy to help whatever candidates from the left come forward to defeat Vision.
