Next Lego game could feature Harry Potter

Continuing the lucrative trend of converting popular movie franchises into Lego video games, it looks like Harry Potter will be latest addition to a line-up that already includes Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman.

According to sources cited by ComputerAndVideoGames.com, the Harry Potter series is next in line for the Lego treatment.

The site also says that players can expect action-adventure gameplay similar to what’s seen in the movies, which doesn’t sound too far off from what the previous Lego games have offered.

It’s also interesting to note that software developer Traveller’s Tales—responsible for putting out the Lego movie games—was recently purchased by Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. just so happens to own the rights to the Batman series (which Traveller’s Tales recently gave the Lego treatment) and the Harry Potter series.

Putting two and two together, you get plastic people smashing plastic bricks and casting plastic magic.
