Nintendo should take on WiiSpray graffiti project

WiiSpray is a controller modification developed by Martin Lihs as part of his master’s thesis at the Bauhaus University in Germany. What Martin Lihs has done is take a Wii controller and modify it into a spray can, and create some custom software that enables users to graffiti on a projection screen without actually painting anything.

This has not been picked up by Nintendo but hopefully it will be. Nintendo would have to modify it in some way so that you could tag a TV screen, since not many people have projection screens. It would be nice, in this case, to have the option to save pieces you create and upload them to the Internet to share with others.

Some might think that this would promote vandalism but this is the same old argument that comes along with any new game. As we have learned, games do not make people do things they wouldn’t already do on their own accord.

That is cool!

If it does encourage graffiti, at least the little punks would be better at it.
