Paulina Gretzky gets serious about a musical career

The 23-year-old daughter of the Great One is best known for teasing her 163,000-plus followers on Twitter with salacious photos.

But there's a serious side to Paulina Gretzky, according to this article on the Complex Pop Culture website.

"People might think this has been easy for me but I’ve been working hard at singing since I was 16," she says. "I went to Interlochen [Center for the Arts]. I studied opera. I’ve paid my dues."

She's reportedly working on a debut album for Universal Records.

"I have a very raspy voice," Gretzky reveals in the interview. "My inspiration has always been Stevie Nicks. Hopefully it won’t sound like what everybody else is doing right now, and hopefully people will see the uniqueness in my voice and fall in love with it."

For those of you who've been living in a bubble and have no knowledge of Paulina Gretzky, here's a video compilation of the Twitter pics that helped make her nearly as famous as her dad.

I think that if she's going to make it as a pop star, she'll have to overcome her shyness. ;)

She is 23 and hasn't gone to college and doesn't have a real job or training of any kind? Poor Wayne. He is such a gentleman.
