Photo gallery: Paint Your Faith mural at Abbott and West Hastings
A week ago, if you had walked down Abbott Street past West Hastings, you would have noticed a vacant lot bordering an old brick wall. Trash littered the empty space, which was visibly plagued with broken bottles and needles.
But take a stroll through the area today and you’ll feel welcome to enjoy an attractive green space marked with rocks creating a giant peace sign. The garbage is gone. And that old brick wall is covered by an eclectic mural.
