The Pace Group, which is handling media relations for the Surrey Regional Economic Summit, has sent out the above photo.

It shows Surrey mayor Dianne Watts basking in the glow of two former U.S. presidents, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Indeed, Watts hosted a Mayor's Lunch with the Presidents at the summit.

The problem? Both Bush and Clinton have been accused of war crimes.

That's why, well, mostly in the case of Bush, a crowd of protesters showed up outside the hotel.

Now, with the presidents on their way out of town and a civic election next month, she's left to deal with any political consequences. (Lucky for her, the opposition party isn't bothering to run a mayoral candidate this November.)

There's a world of difference with the way thing worked under Bush and Clinton. One is without a doubt a war criminal, the other, without the USA's military establishment, would've just gone on enjoying his interns.

I think when she fell off her horse she must have hit her head pretty hard, harder than her back, to want to even pose with these two doesn't say much for your integrity. Bush just gives me the creeps, always has and the way he just snickers through everything is so arrogant. Why do we need him to talk about economics? How to make money and screw the country is that what he's talking about? Because he was the one who put the USA into such an economic mess, he started a war for no reason, he didn't handle Katrina or 911 very well, and he ignores those that need help and sucked up to big corporations and banks. Why is Bill the only one clapping, like an old dafty at his own party? And why is she wearing that funny princess hat? Oh...wait a minute... ahem...not a hat, sorry. How much did they pay this media relations company?
