If you’re curious about the future of Canadian fashion, you need not look further than students graduating from fashion design programs across the Lower Mainland. On November 21, students from Blanche Macdonald’s 2012 graduating class showcased their three-piece collections down the runway at the Blanche Macdonald Centre Atelier Campus (201-410 Robson Street). These students were enrolled in the school’s one-year intensive program and spent four months designing and constructing their clothing pieces. Results included the use of eco-friendly fabrics, sophisticated silhouettes, edgy streetwear pieces, avant garde designs, and elegant gowns.

Below are photos of pieces by each designer.
