A small group of marijuana activists rallied at the office of North Vancouver Conservative MP Andrew Saxton today (May 14) in opposition of the federal government's decision to extradite Marc Emery. Despite the office being closed, the protesters continued to spread their message.

Looks like most of the "activists" stayed at home on the couch with a bag of Doritos. More photos than protesters...

I count less than 6 activists. Not much of a protest. Thought there would be more

Gee, he said he had "millions of supporters" but it looks like a dozen or less.

You can't judge activism just by the number of people who show up, ESPECIALLY at a local MP's office. The global marijuana march in Toronto had 40,000+ people smoking up with Marc Emery right there in the middle of it. Even a small protest gets the word out and lets people know there is an injustice being done. Don't belittle those who weren't there, instead, support those who were.

Is it just me, or don't laws against nature seem a little unnatural?

Why does the Conservative party wish to ignore science, judges, Parliamentary committees and the Senate to wage a "cultural war" against the majority of Canadians who didn't vote for them?

If they wish to impose their version of "morality" and waste billions of dollars in tax payer money building prisons to imprison non-violent Canadians (at a time when violent crime in Canada is at a 30 year low), shouldn't they at the very least read the 'Holy book' they so often cite as the basis of their philosophical and moral underpinnings?

Sorry Luc. You clean up graffitti. Look in Greece and Thailand to see what protests are like there. Get on your knees and beg for apology to nice pot people. We still polite. Don't slap the hand.
