I am tired of being associated with him, and tired of his formulaic songwriting, his attitude, and the way that he disrespects young women.
Photos: Vancouver Vaisakhi parade, minus the politicians
The Vancouver Vaisakhi parade this weekend attracted hordes of politicians. Of course, they were not the only ones in attendance at the annual event, which celebrates the spring harvest in India.
To get a glimpse of what Vaisakhi is like for the nonpoliticians, I prepared this photo gallery, which doesn't include any elected officials.
Of course, there's always a chance that the newest member of the Vancouver police board, Daljit Singh Sidhu, will be chosen by Christy Clark to run as the B.C. Liberal candidate in Vancouver-Fraserview in place of Kash Heed. Sidhu, former president of the Punjabi Market Association, has previously been an NPA candidate for Vancouver city council.
