Port Coquitlam nurse looks for love on The Bachelor

Metro Vancouver will have some representation on the 16th season of The Bachelor.

The upcoming season will see Sonoma winemaker Ben Flajnik, who was rejected by Ashley Hebert on the last season of The Bachelorette, looking for his soul mate in the only place worse than a bar—reality TV.

One of the 25 women competing for Flajnik’s affection on the show is a 23-year-old labour and delivery nurse identified as Amber B. of Port Coquitlam. Amber will be the season’s only Canadian bachelorette.

The Bachelor premieres on January 2 at 8 p.m. on Citytv.
