Provence Marinaside restaurant (1177 Marinaside Crescent) is currently under construction to make room for a new, wine-focused dining space opening in December. The Wine Bar will take over an area that previously included the seafood restaurant’s entrance foyer, antipasti display case, and small room.

The Wine Bar will feature 50 wines by the glass (starting at $7) and a “bites” menu ($5 to $18), with smaller dishes to pair with wines and larger sharing plates. The dining space, which will be separated from the restaurant’s main dining room, will include seating for 30 and will be open from 3 p.m. daily.

“The Wine Bar at Provence is a place where you can drop by for a glass of wine, have a light snack, and meet up with friends,” executive chef Jean-Francis Quaglia, who co-owns Provence Marinaside and Provence Mediterranean Grill (4473 West 10th Avenue) with his wife, Alessandra Quaglia, said in a news release. “Provence’s Wine Bar is meant to be very casual and value-priced.”

Provence Marinaside restaurant will be open during the Wine Bar’s construction.
