Republican Jon Huntsman says his party is devoid of a soul

Former Utah governor Jon Huntsman flamed out in the Republican presidential primaries, mainly because he was too liberal.

He reinforced this image again when he recently told the Telegraph that Republicans must allow state governments to legalize gay marriage.

"The party right now is a holding company that's devoid of a soul and it will be filled up with ideas over time and leaders will take their proper place," he told the British newspaper.

Huntsman also said that the Republican Party "can't be known as fear-based and doesn't believe in math".

What would fear-mongering broadcasters like Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck say about that?
