Rick Santorum bows out of presidential race, but the other definition of santorum lives on

The politician with the funny last name—thanks to Straight columnist Dan Savage—has dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Former senator Rick Santorum announced in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that he has suspended his campaign, effective immediately.

This virtually ensures that former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will be his party's candidate against Democrat Barack Obama in this year's U.S. presidential election.

Santorum, a right-wing Christian, has been one of his country's most outspoken opponents of LGBT rights.

He has even claimed that allowing same-sex marriage would lead to polygamy.

His criticism of gay sex led Savage to hold a competition over the Internet a few years ago to create a definition for "santorum".

The winning entry was "the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex".

I dont think really alot has to be said about how white, how racist, how crazy this party is. Obama was the best thing that ever happened to America. Wow no new wars in 4 years as Libya was started by the UK and France to cover up their dealings with Kaddafi. And it really made the US alot more multi cultural. Funny how these right winged Christians religion actualley came from the place they hate. Ironic and sad. But hey the last thing the world needs is yet another oil war fought over oil, Israel or lies. Iraq was bad enough and Afghanistan is still going on.
The US needs to spend money on its own schools, infrastructure and developing jobs before China, Brazil, India, Korea and Japan take over.
God has nothing to do with politics leave him or her out.
