See Star Trek Exhibit for free on Monday morning when Fair at PNE drops gate charge
The 102nd annual Fair at the PNE began today at Hastings Park with more than 50 rides and attractions.
The city-owned extravaganza offers free admission for up to five kids 13 and under as long as they're accompanied by one adult at least 21 years of age.
But on Monday (August 20), everyone can get through the gates without paying from 9 a.m. to noon.
On all other days, there are significant savings for those who buy their tickets online or at 7-Eleven or Safeway. For more information, go here.
One of the highlights of this year's fair is the Star Trek Exhibit, which takes up nearly 20,000 square feet of space.
For the regular admission to the PNE, fairgoers can feel what it's like to walk on the bridge of the Enterprise, sit in Capt. Jim Kirk's chair, and check out costumes and other exhibits.
