Sing along with Buffy the Vampire Slayer at Pacific Cinémathèque

This Saturday (November 26) at 1:30 pm, Pacific Cinémathèque will be screening the “Once More, With Feeling” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In this highly musical episode, a demon casts a spell on the town of Sunnydale that causes everyone to express their hidden truths through song. And I do mean everyone, as even a bystander gets a chance to sing about the thrill he gets from mustard-free clothing. While nothing out of the ordinary happens (apart from the singing spell, of course), fans of the series will be happy to know that there is no shortage of the jokes, witticisms, and drama that are its trademarks.

Lyrics will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, and singing along is highly encouraged. Extra highlights of this year’s event include a Snoopy-dance contest, door prizes, and a screening of a secret warm-up episode.

Still not sure? Well, if the thought of a singing Anthony Stewart Head isn't enough to get you interested, check out the clip below for a sample of Buffy herself belting out tunes while kicking ass.

Tickets for the Buffy sing-along are $14 and can be found here and at Red Cat Records.
