A sneak peek at the 2011 Vancouver International Fringe Festival's must-see shows

    1 of 1 2 of 1

The Vancouver International Fringe Festival swings into high gear tomorrow (September 8) but two of our intrepid theatre critics caught a sneak peek of what to expect at Victoria's fest earlier this year. Here, in no particular order, are our critics' six favourite offering (so far). Pick up your tickets as soon as possible for these shows, as they are sure to sell out quick.

Giant Invisible Robot is the real deal

Little Orange Man is a tearjerker

Peter 'N' Chris and the Mystery of the Hungry Heart Motel is skilled fun

Houdini's Last Escape will dazzle and amaze

      The Birdmann gets deliciously surreal

Phone Whore makes a tough and tender defence of fantasies

We'll be posting Fringe reviews daily for the duration of the festival (on until September 18), so be sure to check back for all the latest at www.straight.com/fringefestival.
