Three Delaware daycare workers arrested over toddler fight club allegations
Three charming, respectable adult-type people from Delaware have been arrested over allegations they were encouraging three-year-old daycare charges to fight each other.
Tiana Harris, 19, Lisa Parker, 47, and Estefania Myers, 21, employees of the not-ironically named Hands of Our Future Daycare, were arrest on August 20 and have been charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangement, and conspiracy after police viewed a cell-phone video of the toddler fights.
On the video, which will not be released to the public and is probably not adorable in the slightest (just YouTube "toddler fight" to see what we mean), police say children can be heard crying, and one worker allegedly told one of the toddlers, "No pinching, only punching".
“It was a difficult video to watch,” said Dover police captain Tim Stump. “One of the kids involved ran over to one of the adults for protection, but she turned him around back into the fight.”
The daycare's business licence has also been suspended.
The lesson here? Always remember the first rule of Toddler Fight Club, which is never talk about Toddler Fight Club.
