Three-eyed fish found in nuclear lake
Well, that joke ain’t funny anymore. Twenty-one years after Blinky the three-eyed fish made its debut on The Simpsons, anglers in Argentina caught the lovely specimen you see above in a reservoir fed by Argentina’s Embasle nuclear power station.
Delicious. We look forward to a string of comments reminding us that Big Oil is secretly financing a disinformation campaign against the perfectly safe and meticulously managed nuclear energy industry.
So in the interests of fairness, here's an item on the impact of the Deepwater Horizon oil "spill" in the Gulf. In a nutshell—don't eat food from the Gulf. Ever again.
Getting back to Embasle, we should probably note that the facility uses a Canadian made CANDU reactor.

I thought Marge Simpson had cooked you for Mr. Burns!
But Nukes are safe right? LOL
What's next? Blocking out the sun?
It would be interesting to know if the eye works, and if the problem is at the level of the genome or gestational (if that's the right term?).
I just don't see how the third eye could fit where it is, with the creature's brain in the way a little.
