Tonya Verbeek wins a silver medal for Canada

Canada's Tonya Verbeek has won a silver medal in the 55-kilogram female wrestling class.

The native of Grimsby, Ontario lost to Japan's Saori Yoshida, who has won three straight Olympic gold medals.

It's Verbeek's second Olympic silver—the first coming in 2004 when she lost to Yoshida in Athens. Verbeek took bronze in Beijing in 2008.

Yesterday, B.C. wrestler Carol Huynh won bronze in the 48-kilogram class.
