Many MMA pundits had predicted that a knockout would conclude the main event of UFC 131 in Vancouver.

But top contender Junior dos Santos and former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin went all three rounds, leaving the decision up to the judges.

With his unanimous decision win on Saturday night (June 11), dos Santos has earned a shot at UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
