Vancouver women ranked sixth most beautiful in the world

It’s no question that Vancouver ranks within the world’s top cities when it comes to livability, scenery, and more. Now, a list on MSN Travel—the same website that put Vancouver on the world’s worst-dressed cities list due to our obsession with wearing yoga pants—has ranked Vancouver women as the sixth most beautiful in the world.

Coming in at number one were women in Melbourne, Australia, who MSN Travel says “are among the most gorgeous and approachable women on the planet”. The women of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, came in second and third. Singaporean women were ranked fourth, thanks in part to their “charming mash up of Singaporean and English”, while women from Reykjavik, Iceland, ranked fifth because, according to MSN Travel, Icelandic women are “uniformly tall and beautiful”.

When it comes to Vancouver women taking the sixth spot, this is what MSN Travel had to say:

If you want to gaze at gorgeous Asians and freckled Scotch-Irish descendants, it's hard to beat Vancouver. Nobody rocks bum-hugging yoga pants like a Vancouver lass strutting the seawall. Granted, you'll never get to meet one. To quote my hot friend Jane, “the sixes here have the attitudes of tens." Worse, no Vancouver babe will ever say hi in public, possibly because they're busy pursuing solitary sports (kayaking, jogging, preening) while sporting iPods and oversized sunglasses on cloudy, lonely days. Still...nice bums.

Capping off the top-10 list are Barcelona, New York, Tel Aviv, and Buenos Aires.
