Venue change: Gotye show moved from Deer Lake Park to the Orpheum

Live Nation has announced that Belgian-Australian indie-rock singer-songwriter Gotye will now be performing an all-ages show at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at the Orpheum Theatre—with guests Chairlift and Jonti—instead of at Deer Lake Park.

The performance will be General Admission (first come, first seated) and tickets purchased for the Deer Lake Park show will be honoured at the door of the new venue, with no exchange necessary. The first 1400 fans in line will receive wristbands to guarantee them orchestra-level seating.

Remaining tickets for the show are priced at $45 (plus service charges and fees) are currently on sale on the Live Nation website.

Tickets are also available for purchase at all Ticketmaster Outlets and through Rogers Wireless Box Office.
