B.C.'s arts community got an unexpected high-profile boost in its fight against funding cuts by way of Sex and the City vixen Kim Cattrall.

The B.C.-born actress was inducted into the Canada's Walk of Fame on September 13, and used her acceptance speech to speak out against the recent cuts to arts groups.
