West Vancouver's Griffin Reinhart and Morgan Rielly among top five picks of 2012 NHL draft

Best friends Griffin Reinhart and Morgan Rielly grew up playing hockey together at West Vancouver's Hollyburn Country Club. This afternoon they were linked once again after being selected back-to-back near the top of the 2012 National Hockey League entry draft in Pittsburgh.

Reinhart, a big defenseman with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League (whose father Paul was a former Vancouver Canucks blueliner), was taken fourth overall by the New York Islanders.

The Toronto Maple Leafs used the fifth pick to nab Rielly, a puck-moving defenseman with the Moose Jaw Warriors.
