Yahoo admits blocking Wall Street protest emails, says censorship was "not intentional"
A few websites were reporting that emails they attempted to send were met with a message from the Internet corporation reading, “Your message was not sent. Suspicious activity has been detected on your account.”
Watch a video showing the error message generated by Yahoo when a user attempts to send an email containing a link to OccupyWallSt.org.
The blockage came about due to overactive spam filters, according to Yahoo. Users may experience some "residual delays", however.
You know, that explanation never worked for me in school, but it's nice to see a mega-corp responding to genuine censorship concerns in a timely fashion.
Of course, the real question is: who the hell is using Yahoo mail?
