Young humpback whale found dead on the beach in White Rock

The dead humpback whale that showed up on East Beach in White Rock is attracting lots of curious onlookers this morning.

Suki Dhillon, owner of the Tandoori Raj restaurant in Vancouver, was among those who headed down to the the area to catch a glimpse of the young creature.

Here's some video he took of the whale.

It's not every day that a whale shows up on the beach in White Rock.

So sad. I do commend the volunteers who tried to save the whale, and kept it company.

Damn nature, you scary!
Oh my god! Perhaps a taxidermist could have it stuffed and mounted next to the hollow tree in Stanley Park.

@Damn Nature: Very funny, in a completely non-funny, childish way.

It would be a lot funnier if you were shoved up the whale's rectum before it was mounted. Hold you breath, son.

I feel bad for the whale and for the cold inconsiderate people who posted before me.
