Remember that one time you dipped into your friend's edibles stash and proceeded to spend 10 hours glued to the couch in your parent's basement?

Writers and tweeters at Forbes have proven they've never had such experiences with their latest story about the cannabis industry.

In the article titled, "Edibles are the next big thing for pot entrepreneurs", the intrepid writer makes a bold claim: edibles will be huge in the growing cannabis market.

Except, as most cannabis users and many non-users know, they already are.

Other claims include this little nugget of gold: "The reason for the explosive growth is that as the pot market expands, it’s starting to reach people who don’t want to smoke."

Let's all just take a moment to tip our hats to Mike "Captain Obvious" Montgomery for that one.

Later, the writer says there will soon be a market for high-end candy, ignoring products like this, this, and this, which prove that the market already exists

As they usually do, cheeky Twitter users were quick to roast the magazine for its tone-deaf representation of the story on social media, and a headline that certainly could have been reassessed.
