I'm scared

My best friend has been on and off with her abusive ex. Despite restraining orders, being beat up multiple times, and having her family threatened, she continues to go back. I found out recently she has been seeing him again. I fear that one day she will be found dead. I don't know what to do.I fear my safety too. I promised her mom I would tell her if I ever found out again.. I just know he's a monster capable of horrible things.

I'm sorry to hear your worries. Call the police. If you don't feel comfortable calling 911 and it's not an emergency, call their non-emergency number at 604-717-3321 (if you're in Vancouver) and ask for help. There's an anonymous number in Vancouver for something called sister watch that's for women to call when they don't know what to do about about violence against women or if they are afraid to give their name and stuff. The number is (604)215-4777. Or you could call Battered Women Support Services for support. They are at 604-687-1867. Good luck to you. Know that there are a lot of smart, experienced, truly caring, strong people out there who know just what to do to keep you and your friend safe and not as fearful. Please call them.
