You have 3 options:
1 You can have the excess surgically removed
2 Reduce your intake of sugar, AND do some REGULAR mildly vigorous exercise. There is sugar in almost everything we eat, so check the labels on the back of the packaging, and opt for something with less.
Protein and veggies are the key.Diet will be 90% of your success. Exercise will do the rest.
3 Love yourself the way you are.

Try doing more Abs workouts. I do at least 10 min of abs every second day to keep my sexy abs. Combination of Yoga moves and sit ups and plank workouts.

It's not that everyone is wrong

But, 90% of the time, I am right.

Try something radical. Go Gluten Free (no cheating whatsoever) for 30 days, and see what happens. I spent my whole life the way you are describing yourself, and then went GF for a partner's reasons and bam! I lost 22 pounds within 6 months and look like the person I knew as a teenager.

Do you homework, read the book "Wheat Belly" and go full force at it. You have to do some extra prep and work, especially if you plan to eat out. But, once you go there, you won't want to come back to the fat, lethargic side.

Good luck.

don't stop now ...

Honestly. Keep going. Don't stop. The more you are active and balance exercise with healthy eating your body will continue to burn burn burn that excess fat. We all have our problem areas. Never forget though we are all a work in progress. The person @Suggestion is correct. You've gotta step up working the core with strength, endurance and flexibility moves. Challenge youself. You've just hit a plateau. Pushups (plank) situps (knees bent) there's tons of core conditioning from beginners to advanced. Btw: Madonna's (new) trainer has some fantastic training tips too. Madonna has amazing body + abs. Check out her google+ account and try the chair workout. Not kidding. Seriously. Good luck.

Yeah less sugar and bread and stuff. That should do it. Also butter is good for you. Question everything!

Train Harder

Nov 29, 2013 at 1:03am

Firstly, do as many core exercises as you want, as long as there is a layer of fat there, you will not see any muscle definition. (there is no quick fix/pill)

Secondly, sleep habits, nutrition, water consumption, stress. All play in your overall well being.

Thirdly, I feel as if you are a "get fit quick" kinda person, or a "20min to get core" ect kinda workout type. When you see someone with defined core muscles, there is NO quick 20min to it. That's life. People who have it, work for it.

If you truly want to lose weight you better suck it up and train harder so you don't have to suck it in. It annoys me to no end when people say "do core this and core that exercises for abs" Unless your body fat is below 10%, girl you ain't see'in nuthin. Fact.

I may seem insincere or inconsiderate, this is how I operate. I don't tolerate any sort of non-sence/lazy attitude/nothing works for me from ANY of my clients. I will show you the same respect. "Do the work or stop wasting my time" You may hate me, you'll love your body.
Every workout should feel like your first. In order to improve you must continue to push yourself. Always seek medical approval before hand, especially if you have any health conditions.

I agree with an above poster about going gluten free, there are many people out there with a gluten intolerance that affects them more than they realize. If you have that issue it may also be causing problems with your body's ability to absorb properly.

It is a journey, decide what path you will take.
