So tired of the same

being in a relationship is like starving and seeing fat steaks and delicious ribs and wonderful juicy burgers EVERYWHERE within reach (or kale and goji berries for you vancouverites) and only being allowed to eat the same freaking thing every night. FUCK.

There are many types of relationships. It doesn't have to be the same dinner every night. You and your partner have to be open to that. I have a feeling you like the comfort of the same thing every night. It's hard to create variety.

If my partner felt like this I would want him to break up with me yesterday.

You are an INGRATE

If U have been unhappy this long, then U should had broken up a long time ago.

In keeping with the food cliches, your GF needs to toss the rotten chopped liver into the Trash.

Are jerks.
If you feel that there's so much better out there, then youre a coward for staying with your significant other and being secretive about your feelings. Man up and leave if you think you can do better.

I've been appalled lately by how many people cheat (I'd say it's split about equally between the sexes-and these are just situations I know of personally). So, clearly this issue needs to be addressed, this conversation needs to start happening, and people need to be more open about what they want and need.

Like the people above say-you are clearly not meant to be in a monogamous relationship. That's ok-but own it! Either talk to your partner about it, or find someone who is interested in an open relationship of some sort.

I would hate to be with someone who felt the way you do. I'm sure your partner would hate it too. It's not fair to either of you. So....be brave. Take the iniative to find the kind of relationship that will work for both of you. And yah, that might mean you give up the comfort of every night.

I have

loved being in a few relationships. And when it was time for it to end it did. Your view seems limited..by you. Lucky you have a special someone. Some of us are single and feeling hopeful here.

If you feel that way, you should NOT be in a relationship right now.

most single people don't sleep with most people they see. after talking you may not even be interested and they may not be looking at you like that at all. it isn't like snap, laid

While you do have a point, the general public in terms of sexiness and drooling over is soooo low. I'm 6'3, dark brown hair and in shape for a guy and have had many gf's. I always prefer having a great gal with me rather than picking up as many chicks as possible. Some just aren't even in good in bed. But back to my public point, yes, there's definitely some cuties and hotties to look at sometimes, but that's it. They're just for show and probably aren't the perfect partners at all. Some of the cute gf's I’ve had were amazing gals to hang out with and amazing in bed, all the while I can be myself and have fun. I mean what else do you want? You can't have them all and you probably don't want to either (diseases, std's, crazy stalker or possessive, etc) and even if you could, do you really think you’d still be happy? I doubt it. Just be happy you have someone, there’s so many single people in this city that would die to have a great partner bro.

I like how you assume that all these "steaks and burgers" are just going to fall in your lap, begging for you to eat them. Must be great to see the world through rose-tinted glasses.
