Spring or just me.?

I can't tell if a woman is just being nice to me or actually has some interest. I work at a club and for a year not one woman in the place has uttered two words to me, not a single hi, they don't even know my name. Then this new girl starts work there, amazing in every aspect, smiles at me , bought me a beer one night and even waved at me. This perplexes me as it is normal behaviour where i grew up. But here it is not normal so I'm stumped. Is she just being the friendly new girl from Abbotsford or have I just lived here too long and can't see the obvious. The cherry blossoms look awesome though!! That I know.

She likes you? I am from Vancouver and I am like that. So watch your assumptions. A lot of girls in the city are under pressures you might not yet know about. Take it easy. And enjoy!

and see what happens. Buy her a beer too. Notice if she is friendly to everyone in the same way or seems to focus more on you. (that's what I do as a girl if I'm flirting, altho I'm from the prairies so who knows..) There is also a slight difference in a look or in behavior if it is just a friend zone or if it is more.
Sometimes if it is more, the person is slightly nervous.
Stay friendly, get to know her and see what happens.
Maybe ask her to have lunch together on her break or something very casual as you assess the situation.

Everything is exposed

in her body language. Google it and see if the things on the list play out with her...

Hair play
diluted pupils
eye contact
touching...

It'll be obvious.... or not

Does it matter?

She sounds sweet and this sounds like such a good opportunity to get to know her before trying to f*** her. I say just enjoy her company. Why ruin the vibe by trying to suss out her intentions?

Welcome to Vancouver...

It's normal for women to be odd here and not smile, etc.

Good for them because no one cares about them anyways!!

It's nice to see the odd gal smiling who obviously isn't from the city. So just go with it and especially she brought you a beer? Awesome!! Ask her out bro.

I will be myself as always and see what happens. I have just spent far too much time in Vancouver warming the single guy bench and have forgotten what flirting was like. These simple reminders do help so thank you for the advice brothers and sisters.

Yes, she does toss her lovely brown hair to the side when we look at each other and her gaze never breaks, she waits for a smile back which is not new to me but feels like new this time.

She has to drive home every night so I won't buy her a beer at work but a coffee date seems to be the way to go here.

Does it matter? Yes it does my friend, yes it does. She always matters in my book and the more you know the better life is.

Regardless of where this person is from, enjoy the moment with them and let things go where they go. Keep being open and just accept the good energy!
