Maybe it is time to learn to speak to someone who isn't giving you sex in return for attention...for your own personal growth.

Women like to talk. To everyone.

And while you're at it, stop saying you want guys to approach you while you continue to hide your faces, look away quickly, tune us out with your ear buds and hand out the cold shoulder hand over fist.

That women need to realize that they have a certain power over men, and that by engaging this behaviour, men go into overdrive.

I think some of us don't realize our power. Or...maybe the women who are approaching you DO.

We like to talk to people; to relate.....you seem to think that we are doing that because we are driven to seek a partner; and that is not always the case.

You are frustrated which leads me to think that you are the kind who "pushes on ahead" to get what you want- rather than respecting a woman's boundaries.

I wouldn't presume to be speaking for other women here though; for me; any potential friend or partner (personal "chemistry"- there's much more to it than just looks) also needs to understand that a relationship of ANY kind is built on mutual respect and trust- and these take time to evolve.

Your assumption that because we talk to you means we must be on the "prowl for a partner" guarantees that you will be playing one man Euchre at home for a long time to come.

Don't you Neanderthals know that we women exist solely for the purpose of flipping our hair, smiling, and sending out innocuous signals that you interpret as an invitation to fuck? Christ, how dense are you? I guess you might as well know that when we:

-lick our fingertips when turning the pages of a book or newspaper;
-glance over at someone having a coughing fit;
-order beef (not poultry) at a restaurant;
-change songs on our iPods;
-tap our hands on our laps gently to the beat of the song we just switched to on our iPod;
-rub a crust away from the corner of our eyes;
-say "Thank you" when you hold the door open for us;
-wear button-up shirts on the weekend;
-put our sunglasses on top of our heads

...all of those things mean we are into you. Secret's out, men--you can thank me later.

Have you actually talked to any of these women and had them complain that guys never approach them or are you just generalizing based off of something that one female has said in a totally separate situation? Sounds to me like those girls are throwing out all the stops to show that they DON'T want to be approached... So I would probably steer clear and strike up a conversation with someone willing that actually wants to talk to you.

Maybe woman like the way you look, but after a few minutes of chat you have managed to turn them off..... at least you have the intro, now you have to play the game. like it or not, it is a game.

...many people are friendly. Lots of women have long hair, playing with it is a natural instinct, like cats licking their fur or sharpening their claws. None of these women are interested in you, because you are obviously just looking at them as sex objects, not potential friends or fellow citizens. Besides the obvious fact that lots of attractive women rely on their looks to get them special favors, especially from clueless geeks.
