Radioactive

My job requires making frequent stops to the dump. They always ask what is in the back of my van.
The dump man: "any chemicals, batteries, metal? etc."
I always sneak in thorium.
Me: " Nope, just a mattress, thorium, bike and dresser"
The dump man: " alright , up you go to the main lift."
I have yet to be stopped. I am so bad

Thorium 232 is relatively stable. Americium is used in smoke detectors, and I wonder how many of those get thrown out. Besides, what's a little smidge of radiation in a landfill compared to you having your cell phone glued to your head all day or having an x-ray?

I don't actually sneak in thorium . I sneak in the word , to see if they ever catch on.
Thorium is highly radioactive. Dangerous beyond ppm concentrations.

I can't believe a garbage dump would hire such an under-educated troglodyte who would let harmful actinides slip into our waste collection system. Either that, or he has lost his passion for his work. For shame!
