if you have a pretty good idea of what the reaction will be when you say it, otherwise it can cause an unsettling situation. Maybe start with something smaller, like saying, I love being with you or I love some great qualities you have and see how that goes. Test the waters before leaping in. Of course, it does matter what the reaction will be, to you and also to him. Have you known him or been together a long time?

Weve been dating only for a couple of months. I gave him very obvious hints, I said I have a surprise to tell him. And he said he couldn't wait. What does it matter on which day you tell him? If you feel it, just freaking say it. Building up this *mystery* to him and psyching yourself up/out won't make a hoot of a difference when you say the words. Whatever the reaction, that you shared your heart is what matters.
