Actually, it's much more often those on the right that fail to understand that there are consequences to their actions. Merely shunning those things you personally disapprove of and labeling it "being responsible" does not make it so.

Now, it IS true that the left, just like the right, is chock full of short-sighted foolishness. But few things are more galling than the kind of hypocrisy you just demonstrated.

Yes, as noted, there are always possible consequences to one's actions. Sometimes are avoidable and others are not. Weigh the likelihood that you'd be able to keep the threesome secret (how trust-worthy are these boys; do they often gossip or are they given to bragging? Are they both confident enough that they will not need to use such a story to improve their social standing with peers, etc?). If things look good on that front, there is only the immediate impact to consider.

Sometimes people are not mature enough to handle that kind of thing. Insecurities have a way of making their presence felt as a result of these sort of encounters. Meaning that it may alter how these two see each other, and, it may alter how they see you. This is where insecurities can come into play. And if they do, the risk of further exposure also increases.

If you are confident on these two fronts, there is no reason not to go ahead. If you do your homework and still have reservations, it would probably be wisest to forgo it.
