...work well with a full length pant leg. Wearing black socks with anything shorter be they capris, knee length leggings, or shorts are the height of dorkdom or dorkettedom- that's to say nothing of wearing sandals with black socks- women doing it too.

Wearing black socks like this is almost as stupid as wearing "FUBU" socks- which is a Polynesian Term for White Trash- a point perfectly underscored by those who wear them not knowing their true meaning.

Apparently association only with your warped sense of physical attractiveness and materialistic life (temp since your a renter) is a must for happy life? How about deep sense of well being from getting advanced degrees while living on cup o noodle? Ya shallow miscreant!

You seem to be an upbeat person with a positive attitude, which is probably why you are attracting this life. My post would probably be the exact opposite in most of the categories as I'm going through a rough patch at the moment. Nice to read something good is going on out there. Just watch not to be too cocky, and stay thankful, being aware of others not as unfortunate.
