I am recently single from my first gay relationship. I met her on tinder. I always knew I had an attraction to women but I didn't know how to approach women or were to find gay women in vancouver. Can someone give me advice? Where to go, how I know if someone's gay.. I don't want to go on tinder again.. It felt so...unnatural.

I know at the Cobalt they do a "hustla homo hip hop" thing, I think most Saturdays. And then they do "Man up" sometimes on Saturdays which I think is pretty much the same thing.
Go for a walk

Walk down commercial drive, should take you about a minute to meet somebody new.
All good options

Above posts offer great options for meeting people. I would also suggest using an online dating site to meet friends, or one gay gal friend with whom to go out and the rest will follow.
just gotta get out there

The Cobalt (every weekend they do queer events, but Man Up is especially girl-centric), get involved with queer sports (mabel league, queer van hoops, bump volleyball), hershe, tomboy...keep an eye out for denim vest (its only every couple months but its SO GOOD). Heartwood does Femme meetups (theres one this friday) so if that's how you identify they're usually really friendly and have little get to know each other games.
The person who suggested making a queer friend who's more social isn't a bad plan, either. good luck!
